My approach is integrative and individualised. Rather than applying one method to
everyone, we shape the therapy around your experiences, relationships, strengths and
what you most want to change. The work may be focused and shorter term, or broader and
longer term, depending on your needs.
We will pay attention to what is happening in the here and now while also exploring
what you have learnt through earlier experiences. Together, we can notice how familiar
emotional and relational patterns once helped you cope, where they now get in your way,
and what different responses could become possible.
I am empathetic, curious and honest, and I take an active part in the process. I will
listen carefully, ask questions and offer reflections. This helps us understand and
validate painful experiences, reconnect you with your strengths and turn insight into
meaningful change.
